Pizza Hut was founded in the year 1958 in Wichita, Kansas, by two brothers; Dan Carney and Frank Carney. A friend put forward a suggestion to these brothers about opening a pizza parlor, and they took the suggestion. They began working on the plan and borrowed $600 from their mother to start their pizza parlor. They partnered with John Bender and rented a small building in 503 South Bluff in downtown Wichita. National Expansion
